I dream that fog surrounds me

it cloaks- it’s all around me
and when it’s there i feel that all is right
you see this fog it frees me
when no one else can see me i can hide
i lie awake and dream that fog rolls in
My mind roams cross-oceans and years
the time being’s become a dead end
last time i rolled the dice there flashed the eyes of a snake
so i sit and wait for my time to come round again
