Puesto #1 La narradora inicia la canción como si estuviera contando un cuento: "Once upon a time?", narra que existió alguna vez una taberna donde acostumbraban levantar las copas en señal de brindis. Se puede entender que está recordando los momentos que vivió con alguien que ya no se encuentra a su lado, la taberna era su sitio de reunión donde constantemente se reunían a celebrar y a brindar el uno por el otro. La narradora le pide ?seguramente a su antiguo acompañante? que recuerde cómo reían en aquel lugar por horas, ahí pensaban en todas las grandes cosas que harían el uno al lado del otro. Se puede entender que esos tiempos ya pasaron y es por eso que anhelan que pudieran regresar. La narradora siente nostalgia del pasado y daría lo que fuera por regresar a esos tiempos de ensueño.

En el coro se expresa la melancolía que ha envuelto a la narradora. Está recordando aquellos días que pensó que nunca terminarían y, sin embargo, se han esfumado en el tiempo. Aquellos momentos en que cantaban y bailaban un día entero han desaparecido y probablemente nunca regresen. Vivían como ellos querían, peleaban y nunca eran vencidos; todo esto ocurría porque eran jóvenes y creían estar realizando lo correcto. Probablemente la madurez los alcanzó y poco a poco fueron dejando atrás aquellos ideales juveniles de lo que era la vida y se vieron obligados a enfrentarse a las dificultades de la misma.
