Fue compuesta por el cantante y compositor Prince bajo el seudónimo de «Christopher». Si bien estaba originalmente pensada para ser interpretada por el grupo Apollonia 6 en 1984, el músico se la ofreció al grupo The Bangles dos años después. La letra de la canción describe a una mujer que se despierta un lunes deseando que aún fuese domingo.
