Lo más aterrador de esta canción es que de hecho sucedió, pues una pequeña en Montreal tenía un miedo irracional al "hombre del saco" y siendo ignorada por sus padres al creer que era solo un miedo normal de la infancia. Esto llevaría a la pequeña Alice a enloquecer y terminar en un hospital psiquiátrico.
