Uno de los más grandes éxitos de esta banda y el primer video musical de ellos fue inspirada en la película Johnny Got His Gun (Johnny Tomó su Fusil) que trata sobre un soldado que pierde todas sus extremidades y cuando despierta cree que todo es un sueño, pero se da cuenta que lo que lo mantiene vivo es una máquina a la cual esta conectado y no desea nada más que la muerte.

Puesto #1 En 1986 Master of Puppets incluyó este tema inspirado en Alguien voló sobre el nido del cuco. Y trata de como se siente un paciente de psiquiatrico asfixiado por la vida que tiene alli mismo dentro, sin embargo, no esta preparado para vivir fuera de el.
